THE DARLING NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2010

Welcome to the October edition of The Darling Newsletter.

It's a little scary to think that Christmas is fast approaching, but I'm sure we are all looking forward to some time off to relax, eat good food, drink nice wine, and in my case downunder, soak up some sun.

In this newsletter I have a very exciting news which I've alluded to previously, which is the launch of my own new blog August Empress.

Along with that there are some more new client websites and favourites which I hope you enjoy!

Best Wishes, Jo.

AUGUST EMPRESS HAS ARRIVED

Books

August Empress has been a dream of mine to create since I began freelancing fulltime. After taking the time to grow my business and see it flourish, I wanted to focus attention on working on my own creative outlet and projects.

The blog is about patterns, design and inspiration in surface, textile, graphic and web design. You'll also see goodies you can download, helpful resources, and perhaps little snippets of my daily life.

Soon I hope to also launch an online store with more patterns and designs on offer.

I do hope you pop by and say hello!

DARLING PHOTOGRAPHY

BooksLast week I took part in a fun little photo shoot with Bree from Breeze Designs, to update the photos on my website. The location was a gorgeous cafe, Gov's Espresso, which also doubles as a shop with lots of beautiful antiques and collectibles.

Needless to say Bree is a talented photographer and I love what she created. Check out more photos from the shoot on her blog.
